Recently, I decided to interview Shane Burgett of Pocket/Figment, one of the top P-Rep candidates for the ICON protocol. We discussed Pocket/Figment’s past contributions to other projects like Tezos and an upcoming new development initiative for ICON, “ICON-DI” scheduled to take place in 2020 followed by an airdrop of POKT to provide rewards for ICONists running citizen nodes.

Recently, ICON has announced more details on the upcoming P-Rep Pre-voting period and highly anticipated staking to take place on August 26, 2019. During this time, ICONist’s will be able to delegate their ICX to P-Reps of their choice and start receiving staking rewards.
